SESSION 1 - Creating
in Dreams
Join Catherine Woolley, Senior Designer at Media Molecule and Dan
Clark from MindJam as they create in Dreams live.
Dreams is a platform that puts creativity in the hands of its
players, allowing for the creation of art, animation, audio-visual experiences
and of course, games - either alone, or with other creators in the Dreams
ecosystem, The Dreamiverse. These creations can be shared with the wider
player base for all to enjoy, and create a social space where players are able
to experience all manner of creations and share them with others, as well as
leaving comments and reviews for the creators and other Dreamers (the game’s
community) to read. Created by Media Molecule, the creative minds behind
LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway, Dreams is the evolution of their “Play, Create,
Share” mantra.
11:30 – 12:15

Accessibility
BAFTA is an arts charity that is open and welcoming to everyone.
This means we want every visit to BAFTA 195 Piccadilly to be as enjoyable and
comfortable as possible.
Please find a comprehensive Access Guide for our
building HERE. If you have any questions or feedback on this guide, please
contact events@bafta.org.
As we develop our procedures and processes, if
you are attending one of our events at 195 Piccadilly and have
access requirements, then please email events@bafta.org with
as much notice as possible to discuss these with us. Accompanying
assistants, carers or companions can attend free of charge. Please email events@bafta.org ahead of the event to book
this complimentary ticket.
Our newly developed building has been designed with accessibility
in mind, and we have made improvements including adding an additional
lift, widening doors and corridors, removing steps and ledges and installing
disabled toilets on every floor. Working with Peter
Connell Associates, we have made significant changes to improve
accessibility, and we will engage with our audiences to continue to improve.
