Celebrated Nottingham-born actress Samantha Morton is regarded as one of the finest actors of her generation. Learning her craft at the Television Workshop in Nottingham, Samantha was soon cast in British television roles before embarking on a career in film. With an impressive and wide-ranging resume, Samantha has appeared in such productions as Band of Gold, Jane Eyre, Minority Report, Morvern Callar, Synecdoche New York, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Harlots and The Walking Dead. She won a BAFTA for her semi-autobiographical directorial debut The Unloved and most recently was BAFTA nominated for her performance in 'I am… Kirsty'.
