Join this masterclass delving into the Assassin's Creed series including a keynote covering the practical aspects of developing games across international studios within a near annual release cycle, and the challenges of recreating physical environments in a 3D game engine. The keynote will also share insights on the nuances of balancing gameplay and narrative needs. Followed by a panel of series performers past and present.

Over the course of nearly two decades, the Assassin’s Creed series has released thirteen main titles and become one of the best-selling games franchises of all time. The games feature a mix of historical and science fiction, set in real-world locations from Ancient Egypt to Renaissance Italy.

Join this masterclass delving into the history of the games, including a keynote covering the practical aspects of developing games across international studios with a near annual release cycle and the challenges of recreating physical environments in a 3D game engine. The keynote will also share insights on the nuances of balancing gameplay and narrative needs.

Following the keynote, the masterclass will also feature a panel with voice actors from the games past and present, sharing their experiences of how they prepared for their roles.

Schedule and speakers:
6:30pm: Audience arrivals. Please note the Reuben Bar will be open for the purchasing of pre-masterclass drinks.

7:00pm: Masterclass starts with keynote by Vice President Executive Producer of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Marc-Alexis Côté.

7:45pm - Voice actor panel hosted by Steffan Powell with Abubakar Salim, Melissanthi Mahut, and Alix Wilton Regan

8:30pm – Reuben Bar networking.

10:30pm - End of event

Getting to the Venue

By tube

Green Park is the nearest accessible step-free station and is served by the Jubilee, Piccadilly and Victoria lines. 0.3 miles to 195 Piccadilly entrance. The accessible entrance is from the park at the rear of the station.

Piccadilly Circus Station is served by the Piccadilly and Bakerloo Line Services. Leicester Square Station is served by the Piccadilly and Northern Line Services. Both stations are accessed by steps only.

By train

London Charing Cross has step-free access to all platforms. 0.7 miles to 195 Piccadilly entrance. Staff are available to assist with ramps between the platform and the train.

By bus

There are bus stops located on Regent Street/St James's Street, Piccadilly, Regent Street, Shaftesbury Avenue, Coventry Street and Haymarket. All London buses have ramp access and dedicated spaces for wheelchair users.

The Cavendish London Public Car Park – 0.1 miles to 195 Piccadilly entrance.

JustPark Car Park – 0.5 miles to 195 Piccadilly entrance.

  • Jermyn Street: near Crockett & Jones, 1 space (0.05miles)
  • Sackville Street: near corner of Piccadilly, 2 spaces (0.06miles)
