BAFTA albert News Workshop Training

This interactive workshop is aimed at experienced professionals working within News who are currently working in a relevant role and want to delve more deeply into how to incorporate sustainability into their roles. The format will be largely workshop participation and covers both production and editorial skills. It provides the knowledge to work in a more sustainable way, including:

- Who albert is, the work we do and the resources we have to offer. 

- An outline of the current climate crisis,

- High carbon emitters on location- thinking about biggest impacts

- Practical measures we can take to reduce emissions in our work

- Climate in the News and reporting on it

- The opportunities we have in Climate Content to inform, guide and inspire our audiences without compromising editorial integrity. 

During the training you will be asked: What are Common Roadblocks to being sustainable at work? Please come with some thoughts of common Roadblocks you encounter in your role which prevent you from making sustainable choices at work. Try to think of one from each of these categories: Operational, Editorial, Biodiversity. 

The workshop format of this training requires participants to engage in conversation and interact within the session with cameras on, in order to receive a certificate of attendance. If there are any accessibility requirements, please let us know so we can accommodate.
