About the Speakers

Del Walker
Del Walker is a Senior Character Artist with 13 years in the games industry, currently at PlayStation-owned studio Naughty Dog, working on a multiplayer title that takes place in The Last of Us universe.
He was been both a Principal and Lead Artist on game titles Halo Wars 2, Apex Legends, and STAR WARS: Jedi Survivor. Del is also the creator of the main character Deadshot for the upcoming Rocksteady game Suicide Squad, and has recently been elected onto the BAFTA committee.

Hazel Brown
Hazel Brown is a 3D Character Artist, currently specialising in hair, with over 6 years’ experience in the games industry. In her free time she creates educational tutorials and breakdowns on the real-time hair process for games.

Ebonix
Danielle Udogaranya – best known as Ebonix – is a content creator, speaker, Twitch Ambassador, DE&I Games Consultant and self-taught 3D artist. Fuelled by a frustration with the lack of diversity and representation in games such as The Sims 4, she decided to take matters into her own hands by teaching herself 3D modelling and creating hair, clothes and accessories that she felt represented her. Her content quickly struck a chord with others in the gaming community, and led to Danielle working directly with The Sims on the addition of over 100 skin tones, afro hair, and nails. Her designs have ushered in a generational change for new and seasoned Simmers, giving everyone the option to create a Sim who looks like them. She was the first Black British femme to be a Twitch Partner in 2020, and she went on to co-found Black Twitch UK, a platform established to uplift and spotlight Black British streamers.

Jerreau Henry (Host)
Jerreau is the Marketing Manager for Electric Square and Lively game studios. He is also the Chair of the studios' joint Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) board, leading the strategy for diversity and inclusion. In addition to his role, Jerreau is a dedicated member of BAME in Games (BiG), a grassroots organisation committed to promoting diversity within the games industry. Through BiG, Jerreau has helped lead impactful initiatives such as the BiG Mentorship Programme, Representation, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (REDI) Calendar, and Game Devs Across Africa, which celebrate Black founders and aspiring talent throughout the African games industry. Jerreau is honoured to host a BAFTA panel on Black hair and excellent representation in games, where his goal is to foster insightful discussions on this essential topic.

Sharon Martin
Sharon Martin is a Hair and Make Up Designer whose work spans theatre, film, television and music. Starting her career in the theatre on shows including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and Evita, Sharon’s onscreen credits have earned her two BAFTA nominations for her work on the TV adaptation of Zadie Smith’s, White Teeth, starring Naomie Harris and James McAvoy and most recently for her design work on Matilda, The Musical. Sharon has also been shortlisted for an Academy Award for her work on Jingle Jangle and Snow-White and the Huntsman, and she has worked as a personal with actors including Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Lupita Nyngo. Her most recent project was her second collaboration with Bong Joon-Ho on his forthcoming project, scheduled for release Spring 2024. Prior to this Sharon designed George Clooney’s directorial debut, Boys In the Boat.

Nora Robertson
Nora Robertson is a BIFA-nominated Hair and Makeup Designer, who has worked on and designed a broad range of productions in Film, TV, commercials, editorials and talking head interviews. After running a successful salon in Mayfair, Nora travelled the world via cruise liner working in on-board salons before re-training as a Makeup Artist and has worked in the screen industries ever since. Early credits include Michaela Coel’s BAFTA-nominated Chewing Gum, James Kent’s feature Testament Of Youth and Hulu series Four Weddings and a Funeral. Nora went on to design on Sarah Gavron’s BAFTA-winning feature Rocks, for which she received a BIFA nomination for Best Makeup & Hair Design in 2021. Her latest work can be seen in Alrick Riley’s 3-part ITV drama Stephen, for which she received an RTS Craft award nomination, Aml Ameen’s Warner Bros feature Boxing Day, and the BBC/BFI feature Scrapper, directed by Charlotte Regan.
