From 2008-10, Robbie played the character of Donna Freedman in the long-running Australian soap opera, Neighbours,
for which she was nominated for two Logie Awards. Making her screen debut in About Time (2013), Robbie rose to fame co-starring alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, portraying the role of Naomi Lapaglia in Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) for which she was nominated for the BAFTA EE Rising Star Award in 2015.
She has since gone on to earn four BAFTA and two Oscar nominations for her roles in Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood (2019), Bombshell (2019), Mary Queen of Scots (2018), and, perhaps most notably, as the titular role of the biographical film I, Tonya (2017).
She has also made waves as a producer through her production company LuckyChap Entertainment which produced Oscar-winning films Promising Young Woman (2020) and I, Tonya (2017), as well as TV series Dollface (2019-22) and Maid (2021), and is a powerful advocate for gender equality behind the camera.
Robbie most recently wrapped production on Barbie (scheduled for release in 2023) alongside Ryan Gosling, and is producing the film under LuckyChap Entertainment. She recently starred in David O. Russell’s film Amsterdam
(2022) alongside Christian Bale, and John David Washington, and will be seen in Damien Chazelle’s 1920s Hollywood drama, Babylon, alongside Brad Pitt at the end of this year.
This event will be BSL interpreted.
